Dr. S. Mr.R.N.Chandrasekaran

With over 38 years of progressive experience in Karur Vysya Bank, our Group CFO Mr.R.N.Chandrasekaran brings deep expertise in banking operations, credit management, treasury, and corporate banking. Rising through various leadership roles, he last served as General Manager – Corporate & Institutional Credit, where he managed a portfolio of ₹13,000 crores across industries including textiles, NBFCs, infrastructure, and real estate. He has demonstrated strategic leadership by serving on top-level committees for credit, NPA management, stress assets, and fraud monitoring, ensuring strong governance and regulatory compliance. His treasury expertise includes overseeing a domestic treasury portfolio of ₹15,000 crores and pioneering the integration of Rupee and Forex treasury operations. In terms of regional leadership, he headed Maharashtra & Goa operations with 28+ branches, driving performance and operational excellence.

He also specialized in corporate banking by structuring and managing large-value credit exposures with robust risk frameworks. Additionally, he possesses in-depth regulatory acumen with extensive knowledge of RBI guidelines, risk management, and compliance across money markets, derivatives, and forex. Currently, he serves as Group CFO at K Ramakrishnan Group of Institutions, a diversified conglomerate with interests in education, poultry, renewable energy, automobile retail, and food products.
