Role Overview

The Head – Learning & Development (L&D) will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of training and development initiatives across KR Group of Companies. The role focuses on building employee capabilities, driving leadership development, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. The incumbent will align L&D strategies with business goals to enhance performance, employee engagement, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the organization’s L&D strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps across departments.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules.
  • Drive leadership development, succession planning, and career progression initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business heads to integrate learning with performance management.
  • Partner with external trainers, consultants, and institutions for specialized programs.
  • Implement learning technologies (LMS, digital platforms) to enhance accessibility.
  • Foster a learning culture by promoting innovation, upskilling, and cross-functional knowledge sharing.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective program delivery.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Certifications in L&D / Talent Management / Instructional Design (e.g., CPLP, SHRM, ATD).
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and training methodologies.
  • Exposure to leadership development, behavioral training, and competency frameworks.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable impact through learning programs.
